The classroom.
Which was, and I'm leaving the hotel-to-classroom conversion up to you, the Bellagio of classroom settings. I love working in the classroom. It makes the class so much more personable, which I think is a really valuable aspect of this class in particular. Discussions were easier, I could hear you and my fellow students more clearly, and I was not at all tempted to click over and check the status of my completed college applications after I had finished the assigned tasks in class.
I've tried my best to hack through the tragedy blogs, and am really interested to be able to see how my opinion on the thing evolves. I know that doing these blogs is like taking my vitamins. They're kind of a pain, but they're good for me, and soon I'll feel odd going to sleep without writing them .
I'm still reeling from the last project we did, and this new unit is fulfilling my insatiable literary wanderlust.
Tragedy is a new town, and the books on our desks indicate that my incestuous friend Oedipus is the mayor.
Until next week,
Mia
